Man No Sober

Eric George (Man No Sober) started playing music in his family’s band when he was ten years old. Since then he's held residency at Buddy Guys Legends in Chicago, was the feature act for numerous touring artists and did a short stent with rocker Buddy Miles.  Eric has also toured nationally and internationally with various Nashville artists. In January 2005, George took part in a music tour for soldiers in Iraq.

His clear, rich, impassioned voice calls out for kindness, understanding and empowerment for all of mankind.  His lyrics address social, environmental and political issues.  Eric’s music is soulful, heartfelt and rocks one to the very core.

So where does the name come from?

“Man No Sober comes from a Steel Pulse song about a drunk.  But, for me, it’s about being intoxicated by your life’s pursuits.  When shit gets bad, you gotta keep going because I’ve learned over the years that it doesn’t matter what you’re doing, it’s gonna be hard, so you might as well chase your passions.”

2012 Musical guest on The After After Party w/ Steven Michael Quezada.

2013 “Man No Sober” - Honorable Mention - Hutton Broadcasting Album of the Year.

2014 “Gravitas” - Best Rock Album – New Mexico Music Awards.
